February Lecture Series: Investing for Impact featuring Social Finance US

Join the Social Enterprise Institute as we welcome Ms. Rebecca Leventhal of Social Finance US to discuss the organization's groundbreaking work bringing social impact bonds to scale. This series, "Investing for Impact", is a two part series featuring innovators in the impact investing and social finance sector.
About our Distinguished Speaker
As the Director for Social Finance US, Ms. Leventhal leads the organization's criminal justice and Social Impact Bond variant work. Prior to her work at Social Finance US Ms. Leventhal held various roles in the public and private sector, working in government, politics, finance and the nonprofit field. For the past three years, Ms. Leventhal has been an ambassador for President Bill Clinton throughout the world and across the United States in support of his political, charitable, and personal work. Before law school, Ms. Leventhal spent 15 months working for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, where she cultivated relationships with local communities in over 30 states.
Ms. Leventhal began her career at Merrill Lynch in Municipal Finance department where she financed state and local government institutions and nonprofit facilities. She later joined the Structured Finance department where she arranged secured transactions. Ms. Leventhal holds a JD from Harvard Law School an AB in Social Studies from Harvard College.
